Development specifications
We basically have two options: you provides us with the detailed development specification, or 1902 Software makes them based on your requirements and information. Whichever way it is done, you should always be very careful that the specifications comply with all your requirements.
Writing the specifications is almost the most important part of the project.
Project pricing and estimation
The initial dialogue about a new project is free of charge. If the customer can provide 1902 Software with complete requirements and development specifications, then often we can give an estimate or a fixed price. The same holds true if we make the development specifications.
If there are too many unknown elements, or if the project is very big, then we do the project through hourly billing or by breaking down the project into manageable project phases. Often, when a project is about to be finished, the customer wants changes and modifications. The time spent discussing this can be substantial, for which reason we do this through hourly billing.
Project management
The client may choose to manage the project or 1902 Software may take care of this. When we manage a project—and when we are allowed to speak directly to the end user—we often save money and achieve better results.
We use an online project management system to manage the project and track change requests and bugs. The client is also given access to the system.
Project changes and additions
We will implement necessary changes and modifications. If changes can be fully estimated, then we will quote a fixed price. Otherwise, such changes will be charged through hourly billing.
Working hours and meeting time
We work 45 hours every week from 08:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Philippines is GMT + 8. We commonly conduct meetings with clients within this time frame.
All meetings and communication are done in English, and Skype conversations are recorded.
